Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 2026 Model Launched: Kawasaki has once again stirred excitement among motorcycle lovers in India by launching the 2026 Ninja ZX-6R. Priced at ₹11.69 lakh (ex-showroom), the supersport arrives with a price tag that is ₹40,000 higher than the previous model. While the technical heart of the motorcycle remains unchanged, Kawasaki has given it a bold new identity with a Lime Green paint scheme and striking fresh decals. This is the only colour option available, but it stays true to the brand’s racing DNA.
Power packed performance that excites every rider

At its core, the Ninja ZX-6R continues to boast its legendary 636cc inline-four-cylinder engine, a motor celebrated for its high revving nature and exhilarating performance. With 127bhp using ram air intake and 122bhp without it, the bike produces a maximum torque of 69Nm at 11,000rpm. True to its supersport lineage, most of the power kicks in at the higher rev range, delivering that adrenaline pumping rush every rider craves. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch, ensuring smoother gear shifts and greater confidence during aggressive downshifts.
Tech and features for the modern rider
Kawasaki hasn’t compromised on rider aids and convenience features. The 2026 ZX-6R is equipped with a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, keeping riders connected on the go. It also comes with a four level traction control system, two power modes, and a quickshifter for seamless clutchless upshifts. Adding to its versatility, the bike offers four ride modes Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider. While Sport, Road, and Rain are fixed presets, the Rider mode gives complete control to the motorcyclist by allowing customization of power delivery, traction control, and ABS intervention.

A supersport designed for thrill seekers
The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R may not have received a mechanical overhaul, but its refreshed styling, proven performance, and feature rich package make it a tempting option for riders who love the blend of track aggression and everyday usability. With its updated graphics and legendary performance DNA, the 2026 ZX-6R continues to uphold its reputation as one of the most exciting supersports in its class.
