Starting September 22, 2025, consumers will pay less for staples like milk, curd, butter, ghee, paneer, chocolates, and even bakery items. Amul has made it clear that it wants families to enjoy the full benefit of the GST reduction, which is why this bold move has been rolled out across such a vast product range.

For example, Amul Taza toned milk (1 litre UHT) now costs Rs75 instead of Rs77, and Amul Gold (1 litre UHT) has dropped from Rs83 to Rs80. Everyday essentials like Amul Butter (100g) are now priced at ₹58 instead of Rs62, while the 500g pack has been reduced from Rs305 to Rs285. Ghee lovers will also feel the relief, with a 1 litre carton now costing Rs610—Rs40 less than before.

Ice Creams See the Biggest Drop

Perhaps the sweetest news of all comes for ice cream lovers. Amul has slashed prices dramatically on its frozen treats.
