Candidates can now download their hall tickets from the official SBI website sbi.co.in and gear up for one of the most awaited banking exams of the year.

SBI Clerk Prelims 2025: Key Exam Dates

The preliminary examination for SBI Clerk 2025 will be held on September 20, 21, and 27, 2025. Candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment drive can now access their admit cards online. The hall ticket download facility will remain active until the last exam date, i.e., September 27, giving candidates ample time to secure their entry pass.

How to Download the Admit Card

To download the hall ticket, candidates simply need to visit the official SBI website and log in using their Registration Number or Roll Number along with their Password or Date of Birth. Once logged in, the admit card will appear on the screen, which can then be downloaded and printed. Candidates are also required to carry two passport sized photographs, along with their admit card and the necessary documents, as mentioned in the “Acquaint Yourself” booklet.

Exam Pattern and Duration

The SBI Clerk prelims exam will be conducted for a duration of one hour and will consist of 100 questions in total. The sections include:

  • English Language (30 questions)
  • Numerical Ability (35 questions)
  • Reasoning Ability (35 questions)

Candidates must be cautious, as the exam will have negative marking. One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

SBI has strictly prohibited the use of mobile phones, smart watches, pagers, or any other electronic devices inside the examination hall. Any violation of these rules may lead to cancellation of candidature and even a ban from future exams. Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions provided in their admit card and follow them without fail on exam day.

Recruitment Drive at a Glance

This year’s recruitment drive will fill up 5,180 Clerk posts across the country. Given the popularity of SBI as an employer and the stability the role offers, the competition is expected to be intense. Aspirants are encouraged to stay focused and give their best effort in the prelims to secure a chance at the main examination.

Final Words of Motivation

As the exam dates draw closer, candidates should focus on revision, practice time management, and remain confident. Clearing the SBI Clerk exam is not just about knowledge it’s also about strategy and composure under pressure. With dedication and preparation, success is within reach.
