NEET PG Result 2025: The wait is finally over for thousands of doctors dreaming of a postgraduate seat. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2025 merit list for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, giving candidates a clear picture of their chances. The list is available now on the official website – natboard.edu.in.
What the Merit List Reveals
The NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, and results were declared on August 19. Now, with the release of the AIQ merit list, candidates can see their roll numbers, application IDs, categories, NEET PG scores, overall ranks, All India Quota ranks, and category-wise ranks. For many, this is the turning point in their journey toward specialization.
State Level Lists to Follow
While the AIQ merit list has been declared, NBEMS has confirmed that the state quota lists will be prepared separately by respective states and Union Territories. These lists will follow state-specific eligibility rules, guidelines, and reservation policies, ensuring fair opportunities for candidates at both central and state levels.
Cut Off and Counselling Details
The category wise cut off marks were announced along with the result, allowing students to know whether they qualify for the next stage. Candidates who meet the cut-off are eligible for the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling process for AIQ seats. This process will decide who secures a place in MD, MS, Diploma, DNB, and DrNB courses for the 2025 26 session.
Scorecards Coming Soon
NBEMS has also announced that AIQ scorecards for eligible candidates will be available online on or after September 5, 2025. These scorecards can be downloaded from the official website and will remain valid for six months. They will show important details such as NEET PG 2025 overall rank, AIQ rank, and AIQ category rank.
