To keep the process fair, educators who have already received a State Teacher’s Award or the Excellence in Education Award in the past three years (2021 2024) will not be eligible this time. Categories Covering Diverse Roles in Education
The State Teachers Awards 2025 cover a wide spectrum, including NIOS and Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas, nursery and primary teachers, vocational guidance counsellors, mentor teachers, special education teachers, and guest or contract teachers under Samagra Shiksha. This inclusive approach ensures recognition for educators across different levels and specialisations.
A Transparent Nomination Process
The application process has been designed with multiple checks to maintain transparency. Heads of schools will first verify the applications before forwarding them to the district deputy education officer. After certification, nominations will be sent to the headquarters, where a senior DoE committee will evaluate them using a strict marking scheme.
Last Date for Submissions
The deadline for submissions is August 27, 2025, with specific timelines for each stage of forwarding and verification. Educators aspiring for recognition must ensure that all documents are complete and submitted within the given timeframe.
